Child Care Information Services (CCIS) of Union, Snyder and Mifflin Counties is a state and federally funded agency that serves the Union, Snyder and Mifflin County area. The CCIS manages the money that helps families in Union, Snyder and Mifflin counties pay for child care costs incurred when parents are employed and/or in training. There is a CCIS office in every county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
CCIS also provides comprehensive child care information and Resource and Referral services to all parents who inquire regardless of income. The CCIS office will assist you in identifying your child care options and provide you with the information you need to help you select the child care services that meet the needs of your individual family circumstances. Profiles of registered and licensed child care centers and homes are available on request.
Also available at the CCIS office are resources for parents and child care providers. A resource library is available in each of the offices.
